The organization formed by triple-amputee Iraq War Veteran Brian Kolfage after his GoFundMe campaign raised more than twenty million dollars announced that Curt Schilling and Brandon Darby had joined the team to build the wall.

Three-time Baseball World Champion and six-time all-star Curt Schilling will join WeBuildTheWall Inc.’s Advisory Board. “I was an early donor to Brian’s Border Wall GoFundMe,” Schilling said. “People coming together to get things done when our politicians fail is a cherished American past time. As President Reagan said, if not us, then who. If not now, then when.”

As a co-founder and director of Breitbart’s Border and Cartel Chronicles projects, Brandon Darby is one of the nation’s leading experts on all issues relating to the border. He has traveled the U.S.-Mexico border each month for nearly eight years and routinely enters Mexico’s cartel-controlled regions to meet with journalists and sources — giving him unprecedented insight into what’s occurring on both sides of the border. Darby’s participation with WeBuildTheWall is independent of his role with Breitbart.

“I am pleased to offer analysis and advice that is evidence-based and recognizes the complexity of border security. There are dynamic variables with both the issue and the solutions,” said Darby. He added, “Physical barriers in targeted areas are one vital part of the required multi-tiered solution to securing our southern border but we must also address the Mexico-based transnational criminal groups that will ultimately have to be eradicated if we want lasting peace and security in the region. There is a strong humanitarian argument for border security and I welcome another opportunity to make that argument.”

NYC Sides With Illegals, Makes Citizens Criminals And Imposes HUGE Fine

Published

on

In what seems as an act of defiance against our nation and laws, as well as those who enforce them, New York City has not only decided to side with and protect illegal immigrants, but has doubled down on that defiance by making law-abiding citizens the criminals. Making it worse, is that this new rule comes with a heafty fine that’s far more than the average American makes in a year.

Entering into our country without going through the proper procedure of following our laws to work and reside here, is illegal, but now if a concerned citizen calls the individual committing that crime an “illegal alien,” they will incur a whopping $250,000 fine for their honesty. Only in a liberal city hellbent on hating the current President of the United States by going against one of his biggest campaign promises, would the script be flipped to this extent.

This is regardless of the fact that by creating such massive recourse is exceptionally dangerous to the public and only serves to protect and enable the indiviuals who break the law coming into this country illegally.

On the surface, New York City’s Commission on Human Rights makes it sound like they are protecting illegals from hurt feelings and public judgement by shielding them from the term used to describe their status. On Thursday, the group announced that “residents could face up to $250,000 in fines if they use terms such as ‘illegal alien … with intent to demean, humiliate or harass a person’,” Fox News reported.

“Hate has no place here,” read a tweet from the City of New York, following the absurd announcement. The city didn’t stop at the “demeaning” use of “illegal alien,” other potentially offensive ways of addressing illegal aliens was also included in a list of actions that could cost residents a quarter of a million dollars if they dare do anything to report an illegal aliens. This gestapo-like approach by New York City officials threatens legal residents with the fine if they even just  threaten to call Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), or harass someone for their “limited English proficiency.”

If it sounds like a broad, loosely-worded rule with damning ramifications for breaking, it’s because it is, which is probably created as such by nature of being able to enforce it however they want.

“Threatening to call ICE when motivated by discrimination, derogatory use of the term ‘illegal alien,’ and discrimination based on limited English proficiency are unlawful discriminatory treatment under the NYC Human Rights Law,” the announcement read.

It clarified that calling ICE with a “discriminatory motive” was a violation. However, it’s not clear what New York City would consider a call to ICE lacking in “discriminatory motive,” of course.

There’s now word-police on the street, so to speak, monitoring what you say, how you say it, and interpreting it to mean (or demean) however they want. The self-imposed “word police,” of sort, which sounds like it could be anyone who happens to overhear you and report your “infraction,” now somehow supersede the authority of actual police — ICE — who are being blocked from doing their job by the corrupt city in which they work.

According to Fox News’ report, “the Commission on Human Rights has a history of censoring speech it deemed harmful. Composed of political appointees, the committee previously enacted a ban on employers and landlords using gender pronouns other than those preferred by employees and tenants. Violations of those regulations similarly carried a $250,000 fine if the offenders engaged in ‘willful, wanton, or malicious conduct’.”

Basically, if you live in New York City, you better not just cross your t’s and dot your i’s in your communication, you now have to craft your words just right as to not offend anyone in any way. You never know who is listening and how they’re perceiving what you mean, based on their own sensitivities that you have no control over or way of knowing who they are and what they think and feel. This used to be America, land of the free, but is now home of the easily offended and safe haven for illegal aliens.

WeBuildTheWall, Inc. Advances US Southern Border Wall Plans as GoFundMe Opt-in period concludes on April 14th

WeBuildTheWall, Inc. has a 94% GoFundMe opt in rate of those donors that the company has been able to reach

Company has raised over 20 million dollars from a combination of: the GoFundMe campaign, townhalls, private donors, mail in checks and pledges from large donors for its sponsor a mile for 1 million dollar program initiative

In less than 60 days We build the wall has identified and entered advanced discussions and various stages of negotiations with numerous property owners in three states and received proposals from contractors and material providers

WASHINGTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–WeBuildTheWall, Inc. announced that the last day for those donors who contributed before January 11 to opt-in at the GoFundMe page is April 14. Per a January 11 update, donors to the precedent-setting GoFundMe were given the choice of opting in or out of supporting WeBuildTheWall, Inc., a non-profit organization that is funding the private construction of our desperately-needed U.S. Southern Border Wall. Over the past 90 days, nearly a quarter of a million of original GoFundMe supporters — representing a rate of nearly 94 percent — have opted in.

HUGE NEWS ABOUT BORDER WALL! Its happening. Thank you @kriskobach1787 #MAGA @webuildthewall #hirekobach @realdonaldtrump @donaldjtrumpjr

“The opt-in to opt-out ratio has been incredible,” triple-amputee war hero and WeBuildTheWall CEO Brian Kolfage said. “94% of the people we’ve been able to reach have chosen to back the new plan compared to 6% who have chosen to get an immediate refund. The frustrating thing is that we’ve had a hard time reaching about a quarter of the donors to get a response one way or the other.” He added, “We are doing everything we can to reach the remaining outstanding donors. We know if we could reach them that the data shows more than 90% would enthusiastically support the new plan. It’s unfortunate that due to issues with email deliverability and incomplete data that everyone who donated will not have the opportunity to make a choice.”

Kolfage concluded, “Our donors have been amazing; and I would like to thank all of them for their patience, as we have focused on making sure that their contributions will be applied toward the mission of building the wall on private land.”

With more than $20 million in funds raised in the past four months the WeBuildTheWall team has already identified multiple interested property owners in three states. Some property has been ruled out for a variety of reasons, but other property has been selected because the need for a barrier there is extremely urgent, and the building can be done in a cost-effective manner.

“We expect our barrier, which will conform to the publicly issued standards issued by the Department of Homeland Security, will be at least 50% less than the federal government’s cost per mile,” said WeBuildTheWall General Counsel and former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach.

New donors are invited to donate at the GoFundMe page, while original donors, who have not yet opted in, are invited to Click Here and, when prompted, enter their original email address to have their donation count towards current and future WeBuildTheWall security wall efforts.
