Kolfage Announces Team That Will Build Border Wall

Published

Triple-amputee vet Airman Brian Kolfage started the wall fund campaign in December and has since raised over $20 million to begin construction on the barrier. After multiple visits to DC to consult with elected officials, lawyers, and high-level political movers & shakers, Airman Kolfage announced who is on the “We Build the Wall” advisory board & construction committee today.

Airman Kolfage announced today that the campaign to fund the wall will also begin construction on it:

“We have raised over $20 Million from 325,000 plus donors and we are only just getting started! I have been literally overwhelmed and inspired by the outpouring of support, calls, and emails from American citizens who support our efforts to Build the Wall. I got some hate as well but that was easy to ignore with all the positive feedback I was getting. I immediately sought out and consulted with some of our country’s leading professionals in law, politics, national security, construction, and finance. This team has spent countless hours over the holidays reviewing all issues pertaining to the construction of a southern border wall. Unanimously, we have all come to the conclusion that:

-The federal government won’t be able to accept our donations anytime soon.

-We are better equipped than our own government to use the donated funds to build an actual wall on the southern border.

-Our highly experienced team is highly confident that we can complete significant segments of the wall in less time, and for far less money, than the federal government, while meeting or exceeding all required regulatory, engineering, and environmental specifications.

-Our team strongly believes that we can complete our segments of the wall for less than half of the government’s estimated costs on a per mile basis.

To show the government how “We the People” can get this done, we have formed a Section 501(c)(4) non-profit Florida Corporation named “We Build the Wall, Inc.” to receive the GoFundMe contributions. Our website can be found at www.webuildthewall.us.

The following individuals serve on the on the advisory board, and construction, finance, and or audit committees, operations, administration, PR, Media and ongoing fundraising:

Brigadier General Dr. Robert S. Spalding III

Sheriff David Clarke – Law enforcement and immigration expert

Tom Tancredo – Former Colorado Congressman and presidential candidate

Erik Prince – Former Navy SEAL & founder of security company, Blackwater USA

Kris Kobach – Secretary of State of Kansas

John Daniel Moran, Jr. – Industrialist

Angel Mom Mary Ann Mendoza

Angel Dad Steve Ronnebeck

Jennifer Lawrence – Media consultant and journalist”

This is IMPORTANT. If you want money you have already donated to go towards CONSTRUCTION of the WALL, follow Airman Kolfage’s instructions in the Tweet below:

If you do not opt-in, your money will be refunded. Airman Kolfage & his team will be BUILDING the wall.

Airman Kolfage continued:

“You MUST tell GoFundMe you still want to Build the Wall or your contribution will not be included in this historic project.

We are already taking action on:
-Identifying the most densely crossed areas of the border
-Soliciting affected landowners along the Southern border
-Studying the most feasible solutions based on terrain, barrier styles, environmental impact and efficacy
-Ascertaining the willingness of border landowners to provide no or low-cost easements on their property for wall construction

When I created this fundraiser, I said if we did not reach our goal we will refund donors. I am honoring that commitment today. We will promptly refund your donation unless you tell us you approve our new plan for action.”

Mexican Troops Cross Border, Hold American Soldiers At Gunpoint, Disarm Them

This is not good.

The Washington Examiner is reporting:

“Armed Mexican troops disarmed two United States soldiers while they were on the American side of the border, U.S. defense officials have said.

U.S. Northern Command said in a statement that “five to six Mexican military personnel questioned two U.S. Army soldiers who were conducting border support operations” this month. The U.S. soldiers were in an unmarked Customs and Border Protection [CBP] vehicle near the southwest border near Clint, Texas.

Officials confirmed that the Mexican troops were armed with what seemed to be rifles. They raised their weapons when they saw the two U.S. soldiers, and then took a pistol from one and put it in the CBP vehicle. According to officials talking to CNN, the two Americans obliged “in an attempt to de-escalate a potential volatile situation.”

“Throughout the incident, the U.S. soldiers followed all established procedures and protocols,” the statement said. The two U.S. troops were on the south side of the security perimeter but north of the Rio Grande and thus were in the U.S., according side American territory, it added.

Pentagon and Department of Homeland Security officials demanded an explanation from the Mexican government. “An inquiry by CBP and DOD [Department of Defense] revealed that the Mexican military members believed that the US Army soldiers were south of the border,” the statement said.

“Though they were south of the border fence, U.S. soldiers remained in U.S. territory, north of the actual border.””

NM Governor Tells Militia To Stop Arresting Illegals, Sheriff Clarke Responds

A militia in New Mexico is arresting illegal immigrants as they cross the border. The Democrat governor of that state told them to stop. We Build the Wall advisory board member Sheriff David Clarke commented on the story.

NBC News reported:

“New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham on Friday lashed out at members of a militia group who are stopping migrants at the border, declaring “regular citizens have no authority to arrest or detain anyone.”

The American Civil Liberties Union of New Mexico has demanded that Lujan Grisham and New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas investigate the militia organization, United Constitutional Patriots. Some of the group’s members are armed.

“That migrant families might be menaced or threatened in any way, shape or form when they arrive at our border — often times after an unimaginably arduous journey — is completely unacceptable,” Lujan Grisham said in an email to NBC News.

“It should go without saying that regular citizens have no authority to arrest or detain anyone,” she said. “My office and our state police are coordinating with the Attorney General’s Office and local police to determine what has gone on and what can be done.”

Sheriff Clarke Tweeted:

“This is the result when the government abandons its responsibility to enforce the law on behalf of the people of the state. They take their RIGHT to defend against invaders into their own hands. The social order collapses. NO ONE should be surprised.”

Balderas warned in a statement that “these individuals should not attempt to exercise authority reserved for law enforcement,” he said.

The ACLU of New Mexico raised the alarm about the arrests in a letter sent Thursday to Lujan Grisham and Balderas.

The letter said that on Tuesday members of the group arrested nearly 300 people near Sunland Park, New Mexico. The ACLU posted excerpts of the letter on its website with video that appeared to have been made by one of the militia members.

“The Trump administration’s vile racism has emboldened white nationals and fascists to flagrantly violate the law,” the ACLU said. “This has no place in our state: We cannot allow racist and armed vigilantes to kidnap and detain people seeking asylum. We urge you to immediately investigate this atrocious and unlawful conduct.”

According to Reuters, the group, made up mainly of veterans, has been patrolling in the area near Sunland Park since late February. They’ve been posting videos almost daily of members in camouflage and armed with semi-automatic rifles holding asylum-seekers who have crossed the border until Border Patrol arrives to arrest them.

Kevin McAleenan, acting Homeland Security secretary, said in a March 27 visit to El Paso, Texas, that Border Patrol did not help from “civil society groups” in policing the border, Reuters reported.”
